Tales from the old times, before Terran became the major religion in the area, tell of giant people who live in the mountain tops called the Bigfolk, sons of the Old Folk. There are also tales of the biggest and strongest of all the Bigfolk; Rad. Rad Sits on the highest mountaintop and rules over the Bigfolk from there.

In older times a tribe of men lived there who had called themselves Normurians, they watched the other nations quarrel mostly, but when the southern armies and nationes tried to sieze those mountains they were cut back by thousands of raging barbarians who did not even fear death. Francis Evieran was the first King who had managed to claim the nation of Normur under his banner, some say that Francis battled all the barbarians back and tricked them under a snowslide whom killed off them all. Other tales say that Normur was infact empty, no resistance, no barbarians. Just Villagers and pesants.
