Kheemhar is a large desert hidden behind a large mountain chain who surrounds the whole desert but a small part of the south where steep cliffs go right into the ocean. The desert is inhabited by the intelligen, wise and agile Fhej who roam the desert mostly as nomads, though there are fhej cities around in the desert for weary tribes to seek shelter in when the storm hits. Each spring a storm comes crawling in, rain from the swamps across the border of the deadly mountain chain and wind from the great flow, Nheerenda.

This Desolate desert is home to various species of creatures and plants, such as the Fhej. The sand in the desert is dark red, only slightly more red than the Fhej's own body colour.
